“We found Roxy ( formerly Bella)online and her bio sounded like a perfect fit for our family. We were looking for a rescue and ideally about a year old. The videos were especially insightful to the personality and character of Roxy. After a very thorough vetting process by multiple Just Paws volunteers and meeting Roxy we agreed she would be a good fit for us and she has been a welcome addition in rounding out our family. She was timid and unsure at first and she had some stomach / digestion issues to work through as she transitioned into her new environment as well as transitioning her food. The support of Just Paws and our local vet has her back on track and settling in perfectly to her new home environment. Roxy was also very unsure about our cat (River) but they are now settling into a comfortable rhythm and might even be best friends as they continue to get closer every day. She walks beautifully on her leash ( aside from the odd squirrel or bunny distraction) and likes to stay close to us. She is quite a cuddler and that is very much welcomed by our entire family. She couldn’t be loved and welcomed more!”
