TUCKER us adopted! Tucker is thriving, playing, socializing every day. His new Lab brother Sawyer couldn’t be happier to show Tucker the ropes.
Tucker loves playing in the back yard and meeting all the new neighbours. Tucker has also taken a liking to dog friendly patios. But his favourite thing is to cuddle with Sawyer for a much needed sleep.

Tita is now LUPITA (PITA). The first night, Pita was so scared and barely let her family touch her. They all slept in the living room with her, while she slept on their old dog’s bed. Over the next few days, they let her know that she could trust them and that they were actually a really fun family. She began to open up to them and they saw glimpses of her fun personality. After 5 days, she was like a different dog. They knew then that she would fit right in with their family and that they wanted to keep her forever!.
Pita has brought so much love and laughter into home again and they are so grateful to Just Paws for making this happen.

NIPSEY aka Nibs is a “foster fail.” When Nibs arrived , he was in neglected shape. He was groomed, neutered and teeth cleaned which allowed his true self to come out and play. His family loves e his quirks, snuggles and cuddles. Theyhave all of his favourite toys, he enjoys his 3-4 walks daily, gets along with most dogs, running around at the dog park, responds to most commands and does zoomies in the backyard to tire himself out for the night.

TICO is now FINN! As soon as his family saw Finn up for adoption, they just knew he was the one. They instantly fell in love with him the moment they met him, and every day since has been a wonderful experience getting to know all his adorable quirks. He is incredibly sweet, and endlessly entertaining.
Finn is having a wonderful time playing with all his new toys, enjoying long games of fetch, and napping in the sun after going for a long walk in the city. Finn is so incredibly friendly on his walks – he’d happily greet every single person and dog in Toronto if he had the chance. He’s already become a favourite at the local dog-friendly coffee shop!

POMITO is now LUCKY! When his family saw Lucky, it was love at first sight. He is a spunky toe chomping snuggly boy and they feel so “lucky” that we were chosen to be his forever family.

LINA is now LUNA! Luna is a wonderful little sweetheart who has brought so much joy to her family! She has adjusted well and they couldn’t be more happy with how safe and secure she feels in her new home.
She has quite the personality and is full of fun! She loves her toys and her favorite thing is running around the yard bouncing like a bunny! When inside the house she loves to lay on the back of the sofa watching the world go by in the front window.

PIPER is adopted. Piper’s family is so grateful to have this special new family member and she is thriving with them! She enjoys learning and exploring.

ELLIOTT is now ROBBIE! Robbie is a joyful addition in his mom’s life. He is full of love and happiness

Jaida is thriving in her new home with her amazing moms, and all her fur siblings! This sweet girl has shown so much love and affection, quickly becoming a cuddly and loving member of the family.
Jaida’s progress has been incredible watching her adapt beautifully and making her new family proud every day. She’s also excelling in her training class, standing out as a star student among nine other dogs.
Joining a family of active walkers, Jaida is sure to enjoy many adventures and get a ton of exercise .

CHEX is now BREWSTER. Brewster is the sweetest little guy. HIs family says they just love him to bits. He has been such a welcomed addition to their home.
He has been adjusting extremely well and shows them a little more of his personality every day.

TY is adopted! Ty is very friendly and affectionate with every new person he meets, especially his new family! After the first 3 days it was like they had always been together. He enjoys going for walks, seeing his new canine friends at the park and learning all the new smells & sights. Ty also enjoys taking naps during the day and spending time following his family around outside as they garden. They are so happy to have a new family member to snuggle and play with. They love their new little shadow and couldn’t be happier!

CHAPLIN is now ARCHIE. Archie is the most wonderful addition to his family. He has such adorable puppy energy and is so smart. In just a few days he has learned to use the bells at the back door to let them know when he needs to go out!
He is the snuggliest little guy with such a sweet nature. He is exactly as described and his family adores him!

AUTUMN has been adopted. Her family could not be more excited to welcome Autumn into their family. She is such a lovely and playful puppy. Autumn is already adjusting so well to her forever home and they adore her.

ELVIS now IGGY has been ADOPTED! Adjusting to his new home and pack has taken Iggy some time, but he now fits right in. His big personality shines through. His family are excited to continue their journey with this little fluffball and look forward to all the adventures ahead.

CHERRY is now MINNOW. Little Minnow’s family fell in love with her beautiful personality and knew she was a super special senior. She is so loved and she makes them all smile everyday. Minnow loves snuggling with everyone in the family! She especially enjoys when the kiddos go to bed as she can burrow under the covers with them and get cozy. Adopting a senior is one of the easiest and best decisions her family ever made

FIZZ is now DAX! Dax’s family had been looking for a dog that would be the right fit for some time. When they met Dax they knew she would be the right dog for them. It wasn’t long after being with them, that proved true. She seemed right at home very quickly. She has such an uplifting personality, and is so affectionate, you can’t help but grow attached right away. She has instantly had a big impact on their lives. He family is very thankful Dax came into their lives, and to have her as a part of their family

SASSY is now ROXIE ROSE! Just a little shy at first, Roxie shows more and more personality every day. She loves sitting in sunny spots in the afternoon with her brother Ortiz who watches out for her and makes sure she knows the tricks of how to get more treats, or going out into the yard in the morning and watching the squirrels and birds. She understands her sister Penny Lane is a bit of an introvert so Roxie gives her space but makes sure she gives her special attention when she decides to be social. She loves a good cuddle and will curl up with whoever takes the good spot on the couch. Roxie also loves to sing when new people come by the house – she wants to be sure Ortiz and Penny Lane (who both have trouble hearing), know that there are visitors and that massages are being given out…She’s the best!

SNOOKIE is a very handsome and polite little fellow. He’s had a rough start in life, but he is clearly very eager to be the best boy he can be within his forever family. He’s getting good at leash walks, and has become accustomed to the sights and sounds of his neighborhood. Snookie enjoys the company of his older fur sister Marigold, and he is learning from her example.
Snookie especially enjoys couch time with Marigold and his humans. His requests for scratches take the form of a gentle poke of his nose. Belly rub sessions, in particular, tend to lead to Snookie dozing off on the couch, feet in the air.
Snookie is beginning to come when called. We’ll work on ‘sit’ and ‘stay’ next. He is being introduced to toys, but he needs a bit more time to grasp the concept

Jasmine is now SADIE. Sadie is doing great and gaining confidence daily. She is a sweet cuddly little girl and has decided there is nothing better than snuggling into soft fuzzy blankets or maybe squirrel chasing in her yard.

GAGE is adopted! Gage is the sweetest, most wonderful boy. He is a wonderful addition to his family! They cannot imagine their days without Gage’s wiggly waggly welcome home each day.

Sussy is now Phoebe and is adopted! Her family are so happy to have Phoebe! She’s the best. She’s very outgoing and loves to walk on a leash. She also loves to run and play with her new sister Ruby. She adds a lot of excitement to their lives but she also loves to relax on the couch. They couldn’t be happier, she’s the sweetest girl in the world.

Kyra is now MINDY.
When they found Mindy, previously Kyra, on Just Paws Rescue her family immediately fell in love. She has kind hearted eyes, which quickly related to her personality when they got to meet this sweet girl. She has fit right into their family, along with their other dog Jack. They run around endlessly happy together all day, then hit the couch for a nap. Wake up, play, and do it all over again!She is everything they could’ve imagined her being, and. Her family is so happy they were given the opportunity to love such an adorable, kind, and joyous pup!

CORI is adopted. Little Cori is adorable, smart, sweet and spunky. She is settling in and becoming a very important part of her new family. They have wanted for many years a dog to join their family, ideally a small dog at the puppy stage and it was meant to be when they were introduced to Cori. They can’t wait to experience more with Cori and watch her grow and enjoy so many special moments together. Can’t imagine now family life without her.

CUE is now BUDDY. From the moment Buddy came running to his new family, they knew at that moment he would be a natural addition to their family. Buddy has fit in with his family and has brought so much love and joy to their house. He is one of the sweetest fun loving playful little puppies.

TEDDY has been ADOPTED! Teddy, like his namesake, is cute, cuddly and very loving. He is also work in progress.
With time, patience, understanding and love, his personality has changed so much.
His family believes “it was meant to be” finding Teddy. He has filled the void in their hearts.

APPLE is the sweetest little girl and her new home is so full of love, laughter and cuddles with her in it! Her family loves her cuddles and lively personality and their house feels full!

WILSON has been adopted. HIs family had been looking to adopt/rescue for the last 3-4 months. This little guy caught their eye – he was everything they were were looking for. He has a tremendous amount of energy and feistiness that their other 2 dogs need to keep them young at heart! He follows his fmaily around and is very inquisitive and has provided more life to the household. People who adopt senior dogs are special and this was a match made in heaven!

COSMO has been adopted! Cosmo is as sweet and energetic as they said! His family adores him and is so grateful to have this special boy as part of their family!

KODA is adopted! Koda has quickly become part of the family and the best little brother to his new fur sibling Marley.

COOKIE is now BAILEY. It was love at first sight for Bailey’s family. Bailey is the perfect dog for them. She is loving, cuddly, funny, playful, affectionate, happy, friendly and energetic. She loves following them everywhere they go. She is enjoying rolling in the snow, looking out the window or being outside in the backyard.

KOBI has been ADOPTED! Kobi was love at first site for his family. He is the most lovable little guy. He has brought so much joy and laughter back into his family’s lives. He has to sleep with them and every night he looks up at his mom and gives her a big kiss. Kobi is living the dream!

SIA is now PENNY! Penny has been a dream! She’s sweet and snuggly and her family just can’t get enough of her. Penny sleeps nuzzled into them and wakes them up daily with kisses. She loves neighbourhood walks and learning new tricks. She always looks so proud when she knows she’s been a good girl! Penny can’t wait for summer at the cottage and lots more couch snuggles. Her family can’t imagine life without her now!

Scout is now PERCY has been a bright and joyous addition to his family. Percy showed his personality, his love for belly rubs and his love of play. After the first three days of settling in, Percy is unbelievably friendly, loving, and with just a dash of mischief-just as a perfect doggy should be.
He has been very brave with all the changes he has endured, with such a long journey from a flood in Mexico, to a home in Toronto. The biggest journey has been all the love and laughs he brings to his whole family. Playing ball with the boys, walks meeting new doggy friends and cuddles on the couch every night have each made all their lives brighter and better. He is a truly sweet boy who asks so little and who gives so much. He is enthusiastic, energetic and protective and his family are all better for his love of life, his kisses, and his enthusiasm.

TRUDY is adopted! Trudy arrived at on Valentines Day. Tired, very hungry and a little disheveled from her trip in from Mexico City.
Her sweet personality was shining from day one: she’s affectionate, happy, gentle and LOVES the cooler weather. In the evenings she likes to cool off on the deck for hours before coming in for the night.
Her family weren’t really considering a second dog when they took her in as a foster. They believe now that she was always meant to be theirs and could not be happier to have her.

REYNA is adopted. From the moment she saw Reyna, her mom knew they were meant to be together. Reyna has brought boundless joy and endless tail wags. Reyna’s sweet nature and unwavering loyalty made her mom’s home feel complete in every way.

Reyna, a radiant pup with a heart as big as her adorable floppy ears, has found her forever home and loving mom. In her new life, she is cherished, adored, and spoiled with all the belly rubs, treats, and snuggles she deserves. Her playful spirit and unwavering companionship has made a profound impact on her mom’s life.

Reyna’s mom is thankful to be chosen as Reyna’s forever family and promises to fill her days with love, cherished memories and paw-some moments!

LEIA is adopted! Leia is getting along amazingly with her new sibling, Just Paws alumni Poppy. Leia has helped Poppy bring out her more playful side and they can often be found running zoomies in the backyard, chasing each other with toys around the house or enjoying play time with their human siblings.
Her family looks forward to introducing Leia to cottage life where she will have a whole island to explore and additional furry friends to hang out with. In the meantime, they continue to support Leia learning basic commands, getting her used to walking with a buddy and helping her to explore her new neighbourhood. Leia has been a very loving addition to their family!

TESSA is adopted. She is sweet and full of pep and loves walking to mark her territory ! Everyone in her family is in love with her , how can you not be ? She loves to be on everyone’s lap to soak up the attention. She’s a real special little girl! Her little tail never stops wagging !!!

LUNA is now LUNA-BEAN and is adopted. It was love at first sight for Luna and her mom. She is the most gracious girl and very smart. She has settled so quickly into her forever home. She naps on her mom’s lap. She steals her chair and covers her with kisses. She loves going for walks and just loves to chase leaves. Once inside she gets the zoomies and likes to play on her own chasing a ball down the steps or tossing around a toy. She has adapted well to everyone she has met. She loves Gramma & Poppa too. She is a little bean. Thats why she fits Luna-Bean.

Nevaeh, now known as Nutmeg, has settled into her new home as if she’s been there forever.  She is a very happy puppy who loves everyone she meets, but is especially close to her new doggy brother Sammy.  They have mastered playtime sessions together, and have generally become inseparable, though she’s not above looking for another family member to snuggle next to during quiet times.  
While still pretty young, Nutmeg is learning to walk nicely on a leash for short walks and has almost totally mastered potty training, which is no small feat at four months.
Nutmeg is an amazing addition to her new home, and she is loved by all.

JAKE is adopted! As soon as his new family saw his scruffy face, they fell in love with him. Jake has made his family complete! Jake is enjoying playing with his new cat siblings and getting zoomies every night.

COOPER is adopted! Cooper is a sweet, loving, affectionate and easy going little guy. From the minute he came into his new home he also came into his family’s hearts and he fit right in. He has a real personality and can go from being full of energy, chasing balls and playing, to being sleepy and affectionate, and loving a cuddle on the couch.

Rico is adopted! He is such a wonderful dog. He bonded with his new mom very quickly and he has adjusted very well to his new home and surroundings. He has surely made his mom’s life much brighter. He makes her laugh so much when he has the urge to do zoomies around the house. Rico loves playing with his toys, playing catch and exploring in his large backyard.

DINO has been ADOPTED! After a rough start in a puppy mill, Dino has finally found his forever home! Dino is a very happy, spunky boy who loves walks, playing with his toys and with his fur sibling Willow along with receiving affection (to some extent). Dino has his moments and is not fully comfortable with people touching him but he is a lot better than he used to be. Dino has been a huge light for his entire family and people who come over are excited to meet him.

MUFFIN now known as MUFMUF for short, has been ADOPTED! MufMuf has adjusted well to life with his new family. He loves playing fetch, getting belly rubs, and snuggling with everyone as his human pillows.

RIO (formerly Rizzo) had his family’s hearts the moment they saw his big brown eyes staring at them from his introductory photo on the Just Paws Animal
Rescue fb page. He came into their home and very quickly became a part of the family. He’s been keeping them on our toes ever since, and they couldn’t imagine having it any other way! Rio is super gentle with his humans, full of love and affection to anyone he meets, and keeps big brother Tyson busy, playing all day long!

CHESTER is doing amazing. He is a happy little boy. He is learning to walk really well on his harness and to indicate if he needs out. He loves to snuggle with his family. He has done amazing with the grandkids. Crimson(the 13-year-old cat) is adjusting to Chester and will be good friends and company soon. He does great in the car and likes to look out the window. He sleeps through the night and goes out when he gets up. Hs family are so grateful and lucky to have him as a member of the family.

JORDY-COCO is settling right in to her new home! And her mama couldn’t be happier with her! She’s the happiest puppy and loves going on walks and meeting new people and dogs! She can’t get enough of her toys and all the puzzles her mom has her do.
Jordy loves all the neighbourhood dogs and meets many every day! She loves to get out and explore and go shopping with her mom.
Jordy has been thriving at her training and proudly goes to her mat, sits, does touch and chin! She is adapting really well to life in the busy city and has been showing how confident and happy she can be!
Jordy is loving life at home and around, she loves to go on car rides and loves going to local restaurants and bars. She is an amazing companion and is absolutely thriving in her new life!

Louie is now Milo! Milo is an amazing boy! At first he was cautious, but he settled into his furever home quite fast. He loves to play with his Pomeranian sister Pebbles. He is a playful little guy who loves his new toys and stealing his sister’s toys. After a long day of playing, Milo enjoys cuddling up to his pawrents on the couch while watching TV and when it’s time for bed he’s snuggled between them. Milo is doing great with learning new commands, in the short amount of time he has learned to sit and spin. His family cannot see life without him now, he completes them!

CHEETO has been adopted! Cheeto is the perfect addition to his family and they couldn’t be more thrilled! He’s been such a goofball and adjusted to city life so well. Cheeto loves cuddling up with his toys in bed and zooming through the house after a nice walk outside. He loves his sweaters, belly rubs, and watching football with his dad on the tv. He’s already met some other doggy friends and sits patiently for them to come up and meet him.

Misty is adopted! Misty is doing great and has easily adjusted to her new home. She has been very attached to her new mom from the moment she arrived.
Misty loves her large selection of toys! She also enjoys spending time at the windows looking for squirrels, bunnies and birds.
Misty has brought so much joy to her mom’s life since her mom’s previous rescue poodle/cross (Mowgli) passed away last June at 15 years old. Misty and Mowgli share many of the same (hilarious) characteristics!
Misty is very much loved and even though she has taken over her new home, her mom is so grateful to have her!!

Bree is now Brie and she is an utter joy! She follows her new mom everywhere she goes (even tries to join her in the bathroom!) Brie is a snugglebug and is so content to cuddle. She loves to tear around the backyard and you should watch those little legs run. Brie has met her furry guinea pig siblings and they are getting to know each other. Brie endears herself to everyone she meets and spreads smiles to friends and family.

DOUGLAS is now LOKI! Loki is adorable and well-behaved (have you seen his photos?). He has lots of energy and his family is the perfect match for him. They love him so much and he loves them. Loki is full of kisses and cuddles. He enjoys lots of walks, playtime and being spoiled with treats. He is a smart boy who is learning how to sit and roll over. Loki is loving life with his family!

BUFFY has been adopted! Buffy’s family is thrilled with the new little girl they have just welcomed. She is sweet-natured, affectionate and people-centric and has exceeded all of their expectations. Buffy’s loving personality has made her a cherished family member!

RAGS is now AL-POOCINO! Al-Poocino’s new mom feels truly blessed to be given the opportunity to be Al-Poocino’s mommy! His boundless energy, love, and enthusiasm for the simplest things, are so infectious. Poochy (as he is affectionately called), is the most loving, funny, smart, quirky, and beautiful puppy on the planet! Poochy and his mom are so excited to embark on this new adventure and feel it is amazing to wake up every day with such love and joy! They are having I so much fun, from hikes, to playing chase, to trying new foods and treats, and buying a whole new wardrobe (they both share a panache for fashion!).

RIVER is now known as WELLINGTON, WELLI for short.
Welli’ is a super smart girl and has nicely settled into her family. Welli’ loves her daily routine of snuggles and playing in the yard, and is looking forward to getting out for walks and hikes! Welli’ is overflowing with energy and affection, gives lots of kisses freely to all that get close to her, including her older cat “sibling” Tofino who is very curious about this beautiful girl, but best likes to be in observation of her (so far) when she is sleeping.
This inquisitive girl is growing quickly each day and is loved by her forever family.

KOREY is now MOOSE. Moose is a sweet fun puppy, and his family are learning new things about his personality every day, including his love of finding new things to chew! Moose loves to play with his two human brothers. His new favourite things are playing in the snow and playing fetch in the backyard. Moose enjoys going for short walks, he is getting adjusted to longer walks and still likes to be carried from time to time. His family loves his playful spirit.

SOLE is now YOGI. Yogi is a sweet little furball who has a knack for chasing down squirrels she can’t quite catch, enjoys belly rubs after a good nap, and she’s got an insatiable appetite. She’s a cuddle bug and the perfect companion! 🐾 Here’s to countless belly rubs, long walks, learning new tricks, and a lifetime of love.

ROSIE is a wonderful foster fail! She stole the hearts of her family right away. Rosie is a happy joyful young lady who just wants to be with you, sit on you, sleep with you. Rosie is thrilled with her wonderful family!

MARTIN is now SCRUFFY. Scruffy’s family is smitten with him! He brings joy, laughter and love to their lives. He makes them smile all the time, but especially when he rolls onto his back waiting for a belly rub. He is a sweet boy and his family is so grateful for this little guy!

TAMBOR is adopted. Tambor and his new dad had love at first sight. Tambor is a sweet and very inquisitive puppy who loves and is fascinated by people dogs and anything that moves. He is definitely the boss in his own mind. He is the cutest fuzzy, big eyed wonder and everyone he encounters loves him.

Kirby is now JASPER. Jasper (A.K.A Jasperoo) has fit wonderfully into his family. He is very energetic and is a total love bug who loves cuddles. Jasper has been a total rockstar meeting all the family and friends along with their furry companions. He plays wonderfully with other dogs and is learning proper social cues and boundaries. He is always a patient boy during meals, waiting until the proper command before going to his bowl. Jasper is exceptionally smart and has learned numerous new tricks in a very short amount of time and adapts well to routine changes. He loves his stuffed moose toy and his favourite game is to be chased around the house. Hs family looks forward to many hikes, frisbee and scent training classes in the future!

JADA is adopted! Jada is the greatest addition to her family! She has put a new bounce in their step and so much joy into their house. She loves her new home!
She loves to play (chew sometimes ) and cuddle and go for walks in her fancy red winter coat. Jada is meeting so many people and animals on her walks and so enjoys the backyard and the snow. She loves to peek thru the fence and watch in the park for intruders. She is still a little shy but she does not hide under the bed anymore. She is a happy girl!

AXEL is adopted! He is a loveable, high energy ball of fur and he fit in with his family right away. He loves his walks and is learning new skills everyday. His family can’t wait to see what the future holds with him in their lives. They love him so much!

Smitten from the start and now settled in, BIGGIE is home. Biggie bonded so quickly that cuddle time is anytime. His family takes him for several walks a day and his comfort and confidence continues to grow. He is clever and curious and loves to play…fetch, food puzzles, and finding the squeaky centre in any toy, being among his favourite games. His days are filled with love.

ALEX is now MICKEY! Mickey settled in to his new home quickly and loves spending the day cuddling on the couch, getting belly rubs, and looking out the window guarding the house from squirrels. Mickey is a great companion inside and outside. Calm inside, but playful outside, he’s been great at getting his family active and going for walks. Mickey is already family!

ROMINA is now SADIE. It was love at first sight for Sadie’s family. Sadie is very inquisitive and loves to play hide and seek with her toys. Coming from Mexico she discovered that she doesn’t like the cold and wet but putting on a jacket is a fun game. Squirrels and pigeons are a fun game of hide and seek on walks. At her new front door there is a sign that says “Our home is blessed with Love, Laughter, and a Dog”..

RAVEN now known as LUNA, has been ADOPTED! Luna’s family is so happy to have her join Just Paw’s alum Cash. Luna is a little firecracker yet the sweetest at the same time. Naturally being a puppy she gets her hyper moments but will more often than not just want to cuddle and lay on the couch, on a lap, or be in someone’s arms. She has acclimated so well into her family!

Congratulations Jack! After several vet visits and a successful shoulder surgery, Jack is feeling a world better. Jack has adjusted very well to farm life, and has taken to the sheep and other animals like a duck to water. He loves his big brother, Calder, and is currently anticipating long days outside on the farm. Jack is a kind, brave, intelligent, and intuitive dog. His family is so happy to have him and thankful for the easy adoption process.

Tyler now Rocky has been adopted. Rocky has found his perfect and loving forever home. Rocky is doing great and enjoying his new life with his wonderful family.

KATY is now GRACIE and is adopted!
